| Carry cases are recommended for portable use of a telescope. They help you carrying them around and also protect the telescope inside. If you have to move your telescope frequently we recommend to use a carry case at least for the optical tube. |
| Backpack Function Most Geoptik padded cases have a carrying strap for easy transport. You can even use the cases as a backpack! That leaves your hands free for carrying further accessories. Extra Compartments For Accessories Each Geoptik padded case has an extra compartment where you can store accessories - the finderscope, a few eyepieces, ... The compartment is separated from the telescope compartment so that the accessories cannot scratch the telescope. Mechanical Protection The cases are padded for protection against mechanical bumps and hits, even during transport.
