5mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece (7 Elements) with Improved Viewing Comfort For a particularly precise tracking control you often need a very high magnification. At the same time the eye relief must be long enough to allow you to look through the eyepiece for extended periods without straining your eyes. Of course the reticle is #-shaped, so the guide star won't be hidden by the crosshair.

12.5mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece (4 Elements) With Good Viewing Comfort For most photographical applications you need a reticle eyepiece with a medium focal length. This reticle eyepiece also has a #-shaped reticle of good quality and resembles a 4-element Plossl design. It offers a good field sharpness and a comfortable eye relief. Infinitely Adjustable Brightness You will not always be able to find a bright star for guiding, and will then be forced to use a dim star instead. For this reason you can adjust the brightness of the reticle accordingly. Integrated Focus Mechanism With this reticle eyepiece you are not forced to use your eyeglasses for guiding. You can focus the reticle for your eyes using the integrated focus mechanism. k

Batteries for Illuminated Reticle Eyepieces The illuminators of the reticle eyepieces only need very little power, but after some time the batteries will be empty. We offer batteries for the standard illuminator and will fit not only for the Orion reticle eyepieces but for many other models as well.

The clamp has a flat bottom surface with various possible adaptations. You can attach the guide scope on a flat surface or on many tube rings. If you use two dovetail clamps you will get a better stability. The major advantage is that you can remove the guide scope from the primary telescope within just a few seconds. There are two versions of the dovetail clamp available. The standard Baader clamp offers a good stability and has a very good value for money.
