Star Max 90
The Star Max 90 is a telescope fit for all visual applications. Its major advantage is its ultra-compact size, allowing you to take it along almost anywhere. The tube is only 25cm long!Observing
No matter whether you want to take a look at the wildlife or at stars in the sky, the Star Max 90 offers a great performance. 90mm aperture collect enough light even for many galaxies and nebulae. There is no false colour like in many refractor telescopes. As a consequence contrast is very high even on the moon and the planets. The maximum useful magnification is approx. 200x.
Photography
The Star Max 90 is equipped with an integrated T-mount adaptor. You can attach most common SLR cameras with a T-ring. Likewise you can attach most digital cameras. Then you turn the telescope into a powerful telephoto-lens with a focal length of 1250mm at f/13.9. |

Observing

With its larger 102mm aperture it collects enough light thousands of galaxies, star clusters and nebulae. There is no false colour like in many refractor telescopes. As a consequence contrast is very high even on the moon and the planets. The maximum useful magnification is approx. 240x.

The Star Max 102 offers a performance comparable to a 100mm achromatic refractor. But as you can see on the image to the right it has by far the shorter tube.
This is why these telescopes are also called "Travelmak". You can take them along on your journey without adding a lot of bulk to your luggage.
The Mak is also warmly recommended as a guide scope for astro-imaging. |

Star Max 127
The Star Max 127 is a very versatile and powerful instrument. With its aperture of 127mm it collects more than 60% more light than e.g. a 100mm refractor, and yet is much more compact for transport. The tube is less than 37cm in length.
Observing
Galaxies, star clusters and nebulae are visible in a 127mm telescope. Bright planetary nebulae show a lot of detail. In addition the performance on objects within our solar system is very good. The telescope has very high contrast for an image quality that is often only limited by seeing conditions.
Photography
The Star Max 127 is equipped with an integrated T-mount adaptor. You can attach most common SLR cameras with a T-ring. Likewise you can attach most digital cameras. Then you turn the telescope into a powerful telephoto-lens with a focal length of 1540mm at f/12.1.
